Zumbador Añejo Tequila Tasting Session SIB 95 2 Pack Proof 750 ml Barrel No. 8 (47.5% ABV)
Born at El Sabino—one of Mexico’s fastest-climbing distilleries—Zumbador Añejo Single Barrel 8 is the result of disciplined agave handling, controlled fermentation, and precise barrel management. Under the guidance of Roberto López, El Sabino has built its reputation on clean, structured distillates that highlight agave purity while integrating well-judged oak influence. López’s technical philosophy focuses on slow-cooked agave, temperature-stabilized fermentation, and distillation cuts designed to retain weight, minerality, and character. This single barrel reflects that approach: high-proof, unmanipulated, and structurally sound.
This release was evaluated in a private tasting with Mario Felix, a veteran in the tequila world whose experience dates back to the early 1990s. His endorsement of this Single Barrel adds substantial credibility from a collector and reviewer who understands tequila at a granular level.
