Crafted in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, Mezcal Mi Gusto Es Espadín is a family-made artisanal mezcal that reflects generations of tradition, land stewardship, and patient craftsmanship. Produced by Martín García Sernas and family, the brand traces its roots back to 1984, carrying forward a deep respect for ancestral mezcal culture and sustainable agave farming.

This expression is made from Espadín (Agave angustifolia) harvested at maturity, then cooked in a conical earth oven, crushed with a tahona / Chilean mill, fermented in pine vats with wild yeasts, and double distilled in copper alembics. The agaves are cultivated in agroforestry systems alongside traditional crops, a reflection of the house’s long-standing commitment to responsible farming and respect for the land.

In the glass, it opens with aromas of cooked agave, subtle citrus, and a light smoky note. The palate is smooth and gently sweet, showing soft fruit character, delicate herbal nuance, and a clean, lingering finish that makes it approachable while still unmistakably Oaxacan.
